This lamp is so cool! You can either plug it in to a USB port, or it can also be battery powered by 3 AA batteries (not included) It is approximately 9 1/4” tall including the base. Instructions are included, but it is easy to operate and you have 7 color choices. In addition to the different colors, there are also 2 different color changing modes to choose from. One flashes to the different colors and one fades to different colors. To change colors, change modes, and power on and off you simply tap the power button. How cool is that?
